About the contact (vcard) qr code tool
A vCard QR code is a digital visiting card packed into a scannable square. Instead of typing a number from a paper card, the person scans, sees a preview with your name and details, and taps Add contact. It is popular with sales reps, CAs, doctors, real estate agents, freelancers and anyone who hands out cards at exhibitions, because a saved contact is far more likely to lead to a WhatsApp message or a call than a card in a wallet.
Paper cards get lost, numbers get saved under the wrong name, and email addresses are mistyped. Many QR services put your contact on their own web page, which means the recipient needs internet and the card disappears if the service does. This tool encodes a standards-compliant vCard directly in the QR, so it works offline on Android and iPhone, never expires and sends nothing to a server. How to create a vCard contact QR code

Type your Company and Job title so the saved contact shows where you work, which helps people find you later.

Enter your mobile number in Phone, your Email and your Website. Use the number you actually answer and check for typos.

Contact (vCard) QR Code: frequently asked questions
- What is the difference between a vCard QR and a MeCard QR?
- Both store contact details, but vCard is the richer, widely supported standard used by iOS, Android and Outlook, while MeCard is a compact format from Japanese phones with fewer fields. VyaparKit uses vCard 3.0 because it handles company, title, address and website and imports cleanly on every modern phone.
- Does the person scanning my contact QR need internet?
- No. The contact details are stored inside the QR pattern itself, so the phone reads them offline and offers to save the contact immediately. This is different from services that link to a hosted profile page, which stop working without data or if the service shuts down.
- Can I update my contact QR after printing cards?
- Not without reprinting, because the details are encoded in the image. If you expect your number to change, print the QR on inserts or stickers rather than the card itself, or use a Website QR to a profile page you can edit.
- Why does my vCard QR look denser than a UPI QR?
- A vCard with name, company, phone, email, website and address is 200 to 300 characters, several times more than a UPI link. More data means more modules. Leave out optional fields, keep the address short and print the code at least 3 cm wide so it scans easily.
- Will the saved contact show my photo or logo?
- No. To keep the code scannable, VyaparKit does not embed a photo in the vCard, since an image would make the QR too dense for print. Pro users can place a logo in the centre of the QR image itself, which is decorative and does not become part of the contact.
