About the merge pdf tool
Merging PDFs is one of the most common paperwork jobs in an Indian business. A tender wants the quotation, GST certificate, PAN and last three years of ITR as one attachment. A bank asks for a single KYC file with Aadhaar, PAN, address proof and a cancelled cheque. A transporter needs the invoice, e-way bill and lorry receipt stapled together for the driver. Merge PDF takes all of those separate files and produces one clean document with the pages in the right order.
Doing this by hand means opening each file, printing to PDF, or paying for a desktop PDF editor that most small offices do not have. People end up sending five WhatsApp attachments and hoping the receiver opens them in order. With VyaparKit you drop the files in, use the arrows to set the sequence, click Merge PDFs and download. Tips for a good result
- Name your files in the order you want them (01-invoice.pdf, 02-eway-bill.pdf) before uploading; it makes arranging easier.
- Keep each file under 10 MB and 50 pages on Free, or 100 MB and 1000 pages on Pro; the merged output can be larger than any single input.
- Most GST portal attachments are capped at 5 MB, so compress the merged file before uploading if it goes over.
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged; remove the password first with Remove PDF Password.
- Mixed page sizes (A4 invoices plus a phone-scanned cheque) are kept as they are; rotate sideways scans first for a tidy result.
- Merged files are not automatically page-numbered; run Add Page Numbers afterwards for tender or legal bundles.

- Is there a limit on how many PDFs I can merge at once?
- You can add as many files as you like in one merge, as long as each file stays within your plan limit: 10 MB and 50 pages per file on Free, 100 MB and 1000 pages on Pro. Each merge counts as one PDF operation, and Free accounts get 10 operations a month.
- Does merging reduce the quality of scanned pages?
- No. Merging copies the pages as they are, including scanned images, fonts and vector content. Nothing is re-compressed. If you want a smaller file, use Compress PDF as a separate step after merging.
- Why do I need to log in to merge a PDF?
- Files are processed on our servers in memory and discarded immediately, and the free login is how we count your 10 monthly operations and prevent abuse. Signing in takes a few seconds with Google or an email OTP, and no card is required.
- Can I merge a PDF with a JPG photo of a document?
- Not directly in Merge PDF. Convert the photo first with JPG to PDF or Images to PDF, then merge the resulting PDF with your other files. This is the usual route for adding a phone photo of a cancelled cheque or a signed challan.
- Will the merged file be accepted by the GST portal?
- The GST portal accepts PDF and JPEG attachments, with most fields capped at 5 MB. A merged PDF is a normal PDF and works fine as long as it stays within that size. If it is larger, compress it before uploading.
- Are my merged files stored anywhere?
- No. The input files and the merged output are held in server memory only for the duration of the operation and are gone once the download is served. We do not keep copies, and nothing is written to disk or cloud storage.
