Udhaar and collections
Udhaar tools turn credit sales into collected money: a customer ledger with every invoice and payment, an outstanding statement with ageing buckets, a payment due slip with a UPI QR for the exact amount, and payment reminders in gentle, firm or final tone sent by WhatsApp or email.

About credit / udhaar on VyaparKit
Most small Indian businesses sell on credit and chase it from memory. A ledger that updates itself from your invoices and receipts, and a reminder that takes one tap, is the difference between udhaar you collect and udhaar you write off.
Every document in this category is built from the ledger entries your invoices, receipts and credit notes already create. Nothing has to be entered twice. Free accounts get 3 ledger reports a month.
Credit / Udhaar: common questions
- How does the customer ledger stay up to date?
- Invoices post a debit, payment receipts and credit notes post a credit, and the running balance is recalculated every time. Opening balances can be set per customer for udhaar that predates VyaparKit.
- What is ageing on an outstanding statement?
- Unpaid invoices grouped by how overdue they are: 0 to 30, 31 to 60, 61 to 90 and over 90 days. It shows at a glance which customers need a firm reminder and how much of your money is at risk.
- Can I send reminders to all overdue customers at once?
- Yes. The Collections view lists everyone with an overdue balance and lets you send bulk email reminders with a pay link, or copy a prefilled WhatsApp message per customer.
