About the jpg to pdf tool
Most Indian small businesses scan with a phone camera. Supplier bills, delivery challans signed by the customer, cancelled cheques, PAN and Aadhaar copies all end up as JPGs in a WhatsApp gallery. Portals want PDFs: the GST portal accepts PDF or JPEG but often only one file per field, bank KYC uploads prefer PDF, tender sites and insurers frequently insist on it. JPG to PDF turns those photos into a proper document.
Converting through a Word document or a print-to-PDF dialog stretches photos, adds huge margins, or produces a file so large it fails the upload. Tips for a good result
- Photograph documents in good light, straight on, and crop before uploading; the converter does not straighten or crop images.
- A4 pages with a 20 to 36 point margin look like a scanned document; Fit to image is better for screenshots and receipts.
- Camera JPGs are large; a five-photo PDF can exceed 10 MB, so run Compress PDF afterwards for GST portal or bank uploads.
- The GST portal accepts JPEG directly for many fields, but multi-page evidence usually needs one PDF.
- Only JPG files are accepted here; for PNG or WebP use PNG to PDF or Images to PDF.
- Total input up to 10 MB on Free and 100 MB on Pro; one conversion counts as one PDF operation regardless of the number of photos.

- How do I combine several JPG photos into one PDF?
- Drop all the photos onto the upload box at once, or add them one by one. Each JPG becomes one page. Arrange them with the arrows, choose A4 pages or Fit to image, and click Convert to PDF. The result is a single multi-page PDF.
- What is the difference between A4 pages and Fit to image?
- A4 pages places every photo on a standard 210 by 297 mm page with the margin you set, so the PDF prints and displays like a scanned document. Fit to image makes each page exactly the size of its photo with no border, which suits screenshots and receipts.
- Why is my converted PDF so large?
- Phone cameras produce 3 to 8 MB JPGs, and the PDF contains them at full resolution. Run the result through Compress PDF on Balanced or Strong to bring a multi-photo PDF under limits such as the GST portal's 5 MB.
- Does the converter improve blurry or dark photos?
- No. The image is placed on the page exactly as taken. Retake blurry photos in better light before converting; a portal officer cannot read a document the camera could not capture.
- Can I convert a JPG to PDF without an account?
