About the pdf to jpg tool
Sometimes the receiver wants an image, not a PDF. Certain GST registration fields accept JPEG only for photographs, marketplace listings and Instagram need image files, WhatsApp shows an image inline while a PDF needs a tap, and some older portal forms reject PDF outright. PDF to JPG renders every page as a JPG so an invoice, certificate or brochure page can be used wherever an image is required.
Screenshots are the usual workaround and they are low resolution, include browser chrome and only capture what fits on screen. VyaparKit renders the full page at the resolution you choose: 96 dpi for on-screen sharing, 150 dpi for most portal uploads, 300 dpi for print-quality output. Limits and formats
- Output is always a zip containing one JPG per page, named in page order.
- 96 dpi suits WhatsApp and screens, 150 dpi suits most portal uploads, 300 dpi suits printing; an A4 page at 300 dpi is about 2480 by 3508 pixels.
- JPG has no transparency and is lossy; fine text stays readable at 150 dpi and above.
- GST portal photograph fields commonly require JPEG under 100 KB; render at 96 dpi and crop if needed.
- Password-protected PDFs must be unlocked first with Remove PDF Password.
- Input up to 10 MB or 50 pages on Free, 100 MB or 1000 pages on Pro; one conversion is one PDF operation.

- Which dpi should I choose for PDF to JPG?
- Use Screen (96 dpi) for WhatsApp, social media and quick previews. Good (150 dpi) is the safe middle ground for portal uploads and email. Print (300 dpi) produces large files suited to printing or when small text must stay crisp.
- Can I convert only the first page of a PDF to JPG?
- Yes. Type 1 in the Pages field and click Convert to JPG. The zip will contain a single JPG. Ranges such as 2-4 or lists such as 1, 5, 9 are also accepted.
- Why do I get a zip instead of a JPG file?
- Each page becomes its own image, so the tool packs them into a zip so you download once. Even a single-page conversion is delivered as a zip for consistency. Unzip it to get the JPG files.
- Does PDF to JPG keep the text selectable?
- No. A JPG is a picture of the page; text becomes pixels and cannot be selected, searched or copied. That is sometimes the point, for example when you want a non-editable copy, but keep the original PDF for records.
- How large will the JPG files be?
- A typical A4 text page is around 100 to 300 KB at 96 dpi, 300 to 800 KB at 150 dpi and 1 to 3 MB at 300 dpi. Pages with photos are larger. Choose the lowest dpi that keeps the content readable for your purpose.
- Is the PDF stored after I convert it to images?
- No. Rendering happens in server memory and the zip is discarded once you download it. VyaparKit keeps neither the PDF nor the generated images.
